ಬಸವರಾಜ್ ಸೋಮಪ್ಪ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸರಳ ಸಜ್ಜನಿಕೆಯ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿ. ಜನತಾ ದಳದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಜೀವನ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಅವರು 2008ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜನತಾ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಂಡರು.
Basavaraj Bommai is the son of the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, S. R. Bommai. A graduate in mechanical engineering, he started his political career with the Janata Dal.
